The Brief

The Electrical Safety Council gave AdConnection the challenge to increase general awareness of electrical safety amongst the C1C2 demographic and in turn increase awareness of the charity and its resource packed website.

The Solution

Aware of the need for a big hitting, high frequency campaign, AdConnection devised a sponsorship package for ITV1's The Pollen Count. Stretching across daytime and evening weekday news the program had a very relevant audience for the domestic electrical safety message being communicated. This was supported by an intensive 2 week ad campaign across a range of targeted channels with a 30" second creative.

On a regional level, press, outdoor and radio were all utilised for specific road show and general awareness campaigns.

The Results

Over the period of the TV campaign, website traffic steadily grew to beat all previous traffic level expectations. In addition to this, following regional pre and post campaign analysis, brand awareness increased by 465% whilst awareness of electrical safety rose by 4%.
